20 weeks and halfway there

Well folks, we've reached the halfway point. The babes is now the length of a banana from head to toe. Chew on that at breakfast tomorrow! And for those of you wondering, "Gee Lisa, just how long is a typical banana?" Well, they're usually about 101/2 inches, sillies!

Life right now is pretty good--not quite as tired, eating pretty normally (but, still not liking the vegetables), and no heartburn. I still get a little crampy now and then, and at times my belly feels bruised to the touch. Must be all that stretching? I'll have to ask the Doc. Oh and I've definitely experienced that round ligament pain--where you have to do the grab of the belly and then push yourself up to stand. You know, the typical pregnancy maneuver.

In related news, Dave and I checked out Target's baby aisle the other night and both left overwhelmed. So much schmack that you are supposed to buy. Sheesh. Plus, I'm having trouble finding boy crib bedding--the house already has a lot of blue and green hues--so those colors are out--mix in the fact that I'd like the bedding to be animal/alphabet/sports/disney-character free--and we're totally SOL. Saga to be continued at a later point in time, where I'll be sure to keep you all posted.
