22 weeks and kickin' it!

So I'm liking this pregnancy gig more and more each week. 

At 22 weeks... I can feel little mister kick quite a bit.  It always, always freaks me out!  It feels sorta like bubbles and often like a muscle spasm, but every time it happens I stop and think, "Oh yeah, that's my baby."  Now that I can feel him, I can't believe that I am growing a person.  A real, live person. Suddenly, my daily to-do list goes like this:  wake-up, grow a baby, go to work, grow a baby, play with Juno, grow a baby, eat dinner, grow a baby...and so on.  I must say that I'm grateful for these tiny reminders because otherwise I'm pretty much oblivious to the most important task at hand.  The miracle of life is truly mind-boggling.

At 22 weeks...  when I look down at my belly it looks less like I swallowed 10 too many cheeseburgers and more like I swallowed a whole cantelope.  Yay for swallowing a whole cantelope!  Yay for being pregnant and actually looking like it!  Yay for my belly button starting to stick out!!  Ha.  That last one is actually going to turn out to be a cruel joke by the end of this 40 weeks.  If any of you can recall my belly button, you'll know that when it decides to pop, it's really going to POP!  And not even band-aids will even be able to hide it. 

At 22 weeks...  all & all life is pretty darn good. 

**Incidentally, my sis and I have ventured on a fun project.  Her goal is better her photography skills.  My goal is to get through this project without buying more clothes (note:  this means you'll be seeing more legging & boot combos).  So, every two weeks I get a free photo shoot!  It's a learning process for the both of us--she's already had some revelations about subject placement, and I have just found out that unless I want to look like Whoopi Goldberg, I'll need to color-in my eyebrows a bit.  Hope you enjoy!
