It's snowing here. Again. I don't mean to be a debbie downer, but I'd really just like a few consecutive days where I could sit out on my patio and drink some coffee while basking in the morning sun. Sounds dreamy, right?
I was talking the other day with Rach about how I literally feel this weather. It's weighing me down. It's tugging on my puffy coat, and hanging on my eyelids, making me live in a wintery haze.
I'm craving spring.
The warm, breezy kinda spring. I'm dreaming about long walks with a light jacket, and cool sunsets that light up my house with a soft, yellow glow. I'd love to get out in my yard and dig around a bit. These are some of the things that let me know spring is here and summer is close.
In order to pull me from my winter slumber, the sis and I have come up with a new project of sorts to lighten our moods and keep the cabin fever at bay. And so we're curious, what sorts of things come to mind when you think of Spring? Foods, sights, smells, clothes, places events? We'd love to hear what brightens your mood as the days get longer!

ReplyDeleteDandelions! Since taken up photography those little weeds have turned into beautiful reflections of spring and summer. It makes me happy when I see them popping up all over the ground. I put some pictures up on my new blog www.aprilnewmanphoto.com Another sign of spring is Lily's curly afrow (spelling) she has going on with the increase of humidity :)
