What? They make yogurt makers? And you can then make your own yogurt for cheap, cheap? And then you won't have to buy expensive baby yogurt for yo baby?? Guys, I think this little device just may be what the bread maker was to the '90s. Or at least I'd like to make that happen.
I'm gonna get one. You in?
*Post title specially for Rachie Ru, who never did figure out the right way to say yogurt...he, he. ;)
This is pure genius.
ReplyDeleteHm, looks like I need to put a post up soon about how to make yogurt. First things first: You do not need a yogurt-maker to do it. I repeat: No yogurt maker. Fun, fancy, sure. Necessary, no. Unnecessary expense, weighing down your cheap, cheap, cheap yogurt? Yes.
ReplyDeleteI've been making yogurt for a couple of years now. My most recent triumph: Making it appealing to a baby. Other recent triumph: Getting it to a Greek-style consistency. Yep, spreadable. We spread it on whole-wheat toast, drizzle honey, and sprinkle slivered almonds. Excellent snack or breakfast item. I'd be happy to give you a recipe between now and when I post it, if you want.
