And by in the works, I mean I saw this this week and I weally, weally want to make one.
Considering that the least expensive sunburst mirror I found online is about $70 dollars, and this one can be made for $10, I figure why not. It's made with paint sticks! When I asked Crockett if we owned a miter saw--he looked confused, disturbed, and surprised. Turns out we don't own a miter saw, and even if we did, "I shouldn't try using it." I'm horrible with blades--for real. Good thing Crockett said he'd do that step for me with a skill-saw (which I was hoping for anyway).
Craft Night here I come. With a legit craft this time around.
**Meish, a little birdie told me if we don't have crafts this time, then we're kicked out. Yikes!**
believe that! nah, i won't threaten my friends.
ReplyDeletehow do you get your hands on so many paint sticks? get all ninja on the home depot peeps?
I really do like sunburst mirrors (though I sometimes wish that the mirror part was bigger) and this looks like the perfect DIY project. Can't wait to see pictures of how it comes out.
ReplyDeleteNow I'm off to try and recreate another part of this picture, I just need some white tulips and a white vase! They look so pretty!
