"in season"

i liked the visual on this.

since i'm always a bit outta the loop of what's "in season"...

this seems simple enough

i had a huge "duh" factor come into play when i saw this.

of course green leafies would be in season before green beanies which would be in season before eggplanties, which would be in season before melons and pumpkins and the like.

what's closest to the ground, what requires the lesser amount of energy to grow, grows first.

duh!

in my defense:

now that this concept is in my brain, it'll never leave.

well, at least not for awhile...
