Late Night Confessions

*I'm so tired right now that I don't want to get up--let alone shower, wash face, brush teeth, make lunch, pick outfit.

*In a way, I truly feel like I've missed out on some sort of right of passage on motherhood.  Like when I hear stories of how others moms bounce their babies "just so" or swaddle or whatever just to keep their baby calm or entertained.  Jude's been so chill wherever/whatever/whoever it's like he's my imaginary dream baby....that being said, Karma, come and get me. ;)

*I've had a little pebble bumbling around in my shoe for 2 weeks now.  Instead of taking my shoe off and dumping it out, I just wiggle my foot around 'til it doesn't bother me.

*So many peeps I know are pregnant that I feel like whenever we get pregnant again I'll already be sick of it.

*I really can't fathom Dave's patience and attitude most the times.  Basically every random little task I ask of him, he responds with an easy "yes."  Can you pick this up from the store? Yes.  I forgot to water the flowers, could you? Yes.  Can you make lasagna tomorrow?  Yes.  And so on.  Honestly, if we do a role reversal here--the answer is "not gonna happen."

*Being an adult is hard--I need to set up Jude's educational fund, meet with a financial advisor about our financial goals, and be a better saver.  Life was easier when my parents sent me a check each month.  Oh college days!

*My car needs to be washed. Like STAT.

*Coming home and deciding what to make for dinner is a real stressor for me, other than the fact that Jude and I both really like standing in front of an open fridge.  Meal planning 101, please.

*I wish Juno wasn't all up in my grill most times.  It'd be nice to be able to sit on the floor with Jude and not have a dog stare deep into my eyes 5 inches away.

*I never run into or see anyone up close when I take Juno for her walk, so tonight I wore what I had on.  Tank top, no bra.  Saw 3 people, (1 neighbor) and 5 kids.  Have you ever tried to nonchalantly cover up your banana boobs?  Not easy.  And not cool.

*I think this summer is almost the best summer ever.  I [thumbs-up] summer.  OK, you're right.  I [2thumbs-up] summer.
