Oatmeal Ginger Berry Smoothie
Just another smoothie I tried this past week and decided to throw some oatmeal in it for extra measure. You know how I just love my oatmeal! But, if I'm honest, what I really liked in this smoothie was the hint of ginger...
Anyway, I think this type of smoothie could be a great thing for those who just can't quite talk themselves into plain old oatmeal in the a.m. Which happened to be me on this particular mornin'. If you think you wanna try, just blend the oatmeal in it first thing. I read other recommendations online to let it soak in some water for 15 minutes--but doesn't that defeat the whole purpose of a smoothie?? By that time, you could have pancakes and eggs on the table. Ya know?
