It's not early enough to make dinner, and not early enough to bug/beg Dave to come home from work.
The other day I was too lazy to get him all ready and take him for a little swim, but not lazy enough to stay at home and watch him tottle around. You know, one of those moods where you're bored, but not willing to be productive? Can you relate?
So, we went a thrifting. Because I was reminded that we have a brand-new (read: non-smelly) Saver's in our area, and because everywhere I turn, someone on the internet is making me jealous with all their "vintage" finds.
I walked in, perused the aisles, and grabbed what jumped out at me. I was there maybe a 1/2 hour. Spent 30 bucks. And came out with some pretty good loot.

What about you? Do you find time/make time to visit 2nd hand shops? Any thrifting tips for a newbie like me? I definitely wanna go back and do it again.
But next time, I'm draggin' the sister.
She's back and I'm beaming.
why didn't i know you were into this? i love it. the only tip i have is to go often. the floral skirt is my fave.
ReplyDeleteI wish I was that patient... can't ever get myself to sift through racks to find the treasure :/ Maybe once the girls are in school, I can do it without someone yelling Mo-om...
ReplyDeletethanks sis, i'm beaming to be home too. please do drag me next time! you did find some gems. the blush skirt is amazing. can't wait to see you wear them....and post pics in them too?!
