Remember this wreath? Me too. But only because it' s been hanging on my front door since February.
I think. I just threw up. In my mouth. A little bit.
I got so sick of that thing, but then never remembered to throw it out.
Well, all things happen for a reason.
Since it was straw underneath, I just snipped, snipped the yarn, and hello new wreath!
But my top secret to bigger and better crafting?
Invite a friend over.
It helps if they also laugh at all your jokes, like your homemade boyfriend jeans, and say things like,
"I hope I get a kid just like [your baby's name here]."
or
"I made some cookie dough, care if we make a batch at your house?"
or
"Seriously, [your name here], how did you come up with that idea?"
And if you need me to be that person for you, I will.
I do love a good craft night.

ReplyDeleteAnnie- I know you're busy with school and such, but let's get our craft on!
ReplyDeleteAndrea-LOL. Let's go viral with this thang!
Very cute! Ode to fall wreaths! And yes...I accomplish so much more when I have someone to craft or sew with. Someone in my ward is starting a craft group, and I am really excited about it. I think I will actually check off my project list!
