What a difference a month makes. Jude seems to grow and change daily. He continues to be our sleepy baby boy. In fact, I think that last night he would have slept through the night (6 hours) had it not been for me checking in on him so much. You see, it used to mean that every time he stirred, that he'd wake up and be hungry. Yet, lately he has started squirming around in his bassinet and then put himself back to sleep again. And I, in my half sleep/half wake state then jump out of bed to find out if indeed he still is OK in there. So I guess I should rephrase things. He has slept through the night (once), but Dave and I have not...because I am a worry wort even in the wee hours of the night.
At one month, Jude loves listening and watching his mobile. He'll coo and squeal away while I get some things done around the house.
At one month, he's quite the little champ! I think it's so cute watching him work so hard to hold that little head up. In just one month, face plants are becoming less frequent (yet, still a ways to go on this one).
At one month, Jude can track objects back and forth with his eyes. Yes! This means all our hard work of silly faces and baby talk is starting to pay off--now we know that we actually have his attention!
And although he still reminds me of Dave in so many ways (hands, feet, chin, nose, mouth) his little peepers are looking more and more blue each day--just like mama's!
i love the pic of him w/ you looking at him and especially in that bomb outfit!
ReplyDeleteOh gosh, it is the very best when you realize that they know who you are, follow you around with their eyes, smile in response to you. The best.
