Jude: 3 months

Jude at 3 months has developed quite the personality.  If he's lying down, he'll kick to his heart's content.  If he's being held, he loves to open his eyes big and look all around.  At this stage, he's not really much of a cuddler--I think he thinks if he lays his head down he just might miss something.  The good old binky trick is starting to wear off.  And I can't decide if this is a good or bad thing--on the one hand, I don't want him to be too attached to his binky, but on the other hand, a binky sure is nice!!  As of now, he'll really only take his bink if he's tired.  If he's not, he'll just chew on it, or gag and give you the stare down.  But, when he is tired, if that thing falls out before he's ready--then he's up!  And when you go put it back in, well then he gets quite excited to see you.  So...I sometimes I have to hold the bink in his mouth, while ducking out of sight, until he calms down. 

Another funny thing he does (that I wish I could capture on camera...) is raise his little arm up over his eyes to go to sleep.  It can be pretty funny--cuz he won't take his eyes off of me, but he'll sort of peek at me through his arm...all while sucking the bink, of course. 

If you get him one-on-one, he will coo his little lungs out.  And he laughs if I tickle his face or do bicycle legs.

He seems to enjoy tummy time a bit more now.  And I've found it's a really good way to make him spit up. 

Also a good way to spit up?  Sticking your fingers down your throat. 

And I just had to capture his chubby, little thighs.  So soft and squishy and perfect.
