Jude: 5 months

Little bubs is now 5 months.  I gotta say, the biggest change is that now he is growing some hair!  Hurrah! 

At 5 months, Jude has almost conquered his first cold...can almost sit up straight...can almost put his feet in his mouth....can almost roll over (but finds the half-way-there position very comfortable).  And he almost has his first tooth.  So here's to almost!  Still a pleasant little guy, interested most in looking all around and also whatever is in your hands.  I think we'll wait another months to add in solids, but he definitely is showing some interest.  He tracks whatever it is that we put in our mouths. 

Isn't this a sad picture?  This is the first night of his terrible cold.  Really, this has been one of the worst colds I've had in a longggg time.  Surprisingly, he's actually fully asleep--this was after I rocked him for 2 hours because he just wouldn't let me put him down.  Finally I figured to get him super cozy in the bouncy with the vibration on, and that did the trick. 

And here he is in the almost-rolling-over position that he stays in for a solid ten minutes. 

Looks who else is sooooooo happy Dave is done working on that movie?
