Well, this is a little late in the month--but I've been waiting for Jude to feel a little better...

Oh, Hello! |
This is more like the typical Jude! Being 8 months old has been a difficult age for the little guy. Let's see...a new room with a sky light makes for a difficult time napping, 4 new teeth (6 total) makes for a really, really,
really sore mouth and very grumpy disposition, and then throw in a cold, a cough, some eczema and an ear infection and you can see why I
love February. With all of this, Jude has been waking up at 2 and then 5--and for the most part is inconsolable. Poor Baby. We end up walking the dark house for about a half hour, and then playing in bed until he just can't keep his eyes open. Ahh, it's been a rough couple of weeks for us all. It seems like with the move we've got a whole new baby, but fortunately, I think were on the up and up.

Yo, I'm on my way to get my ears checked |

Crawl-stance & Rosy Cheeks |
In the daylight hours, luckily, he seems to be his usual happy self. At 8 months, Jude laughs at peek-a-boo, says babababab, and mamamama alllll the time (I swear he says mamamama only when he wants to be picked up, but can't be confirmed just yet), thinks he's really cool if he's standing, loves to wave graham crackers in Juno's face, gives open mouth kisses, and is oh-so-close to crawling. He squeals when someone he knows walks into the room and he also has a keen ability to pick up the smallest piece of lint, wood, plastic, screw, etc. from the floor and put it in his mouth.
Cheers for being 8 months!
