Leland turned 3 months right on Christmas day! He continues to be a little snuggler, and I continue to try, try, try to put him down to sleep while he is sleepy, but not asleep. This is a hit or miss game that gets harder and harder as the day goes on. Morning nap, he goes right down...4 o'clock nap we probably go through the rounds about 5 times. I can't help but feel like I've spoiled him--I do really love to take a nap with him and maybe he knows I'll cave?? It's an inner debate I have each day--snuggle because he's only little once and soon I won't be able to? or teach him to be a self-soothing, independent sleeper?

Besides nap times when you want me to rock and rock you to sleep--you are quite content.
You still happily kick away on your mat.
You now watch Jude and smile when he giggles.
You have giggled yourself a few times. And here and there you will coo, yet all in all though I'd say your are a pretty quiet baby.
You do not like a messy diaper.
You like the bath if I sing to you in my highest, squeakiest voice.
Your little cheeks are raw from you rubbing them all the time with your fists. You love to gnaw on your hands.
You swat at your toys, and grab things occassionally.
You love one-on-one attention and smile your biggest smile when you get it. When I walk past you in your bouncy chair, you'll lurch forward like, "hold me, Mom, hold me."
