Dah-y

This is Dah-y.  

You might also know him as Dave.  

But, Jude calls him Dah-y.  

The other night after we had put him to bed, we turned on the monitor to hear him in there talking to himself and playing around (this is his usual).  

And then,

"Dah-y?"  

"Dah-y?" 

"DAH-Y??"

Ha!  Picture us cracking up. 

Then picture us giving each other windmill high fives and chest bumps.

That's our kid in there!!

 

No, it's not the first time he's called Dave Dah-y.  

But it was the first time we realized he associated Dave with getting out of bed 

(ya know, since I'm long at work by the time he wakes up and all).  

And it was pretty awesome.

Just sayin'
