Leland: 10 months

Leland,

My bet is you'll be walking before your 1st birthday.  This past month, you've been working your little heart out at standing.  It's all you want to do.  Crawl, and stand.  Repeat.  And it's paid off.  At 10 months, you can free stand all by your self.  And you can do it from the middle of the room without any help.

At 10 months, you are waking up happy and playful.  Jude and I usually come in and play peek-a-boo with you over the edge of your crib.  You squeal and crawl around and think we are hilarious.

At 10 months, you are starting to get the smallest wisps of hair that blow in the wind.

And people are always saying what a beautiful baby your are.

When we go out, people always think you are a girl.  Even if you happen to be wearing a blue bro-tank and brown sweat-shorts...you are just that pretty.

You love to clap still, and will wave by just throwing out your hand.  You give fives.

At 10 months, you're still a little on the quiet side.  No words that we can tell yet, but you do babble as if making conversation.  And you do say mamamamamamma every time I try to change your diaper of it's time for me to nurse you.

Part of me wanting to be in more pictures with my kiddos/Part of me wishing I didn't look like a scrounger most the time.

Today, you are loving climbing up and sitting on Jude's little green chair.  You naturally gravitate to his room and that's where I know to find you.

You are loving the pool, and your floatie raft acts as a make shift walker so you can independently walk around the baby pool (but most the time the other kiddos are up in your grill pushing you around--you let them know this is NOT ok).

At 10 months, Jude is finally playing nice with you MOST of the time!!!  This is so great and fun to see you both pal around.

PS:  No fox pictures this month.  Sad face.  I literally couldn't manage it alone with Jude wandering about and Leland flipping over as fast as lighting.  Kept thinking I'd get around to it, but you know how that goes...
