My first 4th of July with kids AND the day off! Hallelujah. Not
like it totally matters, but ya know, it was really nice to be home with
Dave (and kids) on a holiday. This year, we just walked on up to our
local parade and pancake breakfast. We musta had about a 1000 salt
water taffy thrown at us, with Jude eating 500 before 10 am. So yeah,
we played around at the little fair, came home, ALL took a nap, and then
headed to a BBQ at my friend Marcie's. She was really cute and had all
these fun activities for the kids to do and come firework time we just
headed out into her cul-de-sac to watch them.
It was a really fun day. Leland stayed up til 11 without making a peep. I put him in the Ergo thinking he'd fall asleep on me, but he seemed content to just watch the haps all night long. He really is the best baby.
And that's that. I truly want to get back into blogging a bit more, and not be so boring about it (ie, posting a thousand pics + not much insight). BUT, we'll see. Seems like I'm busy enough with life. In other news, it's been a really great summer, and I'm just not ready to say good-bye.
Your posts arent boring ever but I wouldn't mind reading more posts:) what a great fourth. Love the boys shirts.
