Leland,

You are a blur of movement and exploration.  Just like Jude did around this age, I've noticed almost over night how much of a little boy/person you have become.  You say uh-oh all the time.  If we let you wander the house with a remote control in your hand you are happy alllll day long (Dad says, "he's been having a blast with that thing." which I think is funny).  You throw food off of your tray at lightning speed and then watch to see if Juno comes.  You sign for "more"...snacks, that is.  You also sign "milk".  You wave buh-bye and say it when someone leaves.  You have just recently REALLY, REALLY become attached to your binky--nice timing.  Same with bottles--nice timing.  You really love to follow and find Jude and play by him.  You LOVE to play behind the curtains.  And you get a big kick outta playing "I'm-gonna-get-you."  I really am trying to start to read you books, but you are a mover and a squirmer, so it doesn't last long!  You've become pretty dang coordinated--you can turn around for stairs, and climb up onto furniture.  You'll climb onto the fireplace surround and then look at me and say, "uh-uh." while shaking your head no.  Ha!  After bathtime, you like me to get out the tub of aquaphor and we rub it on your belly.  When I put it away, you cry and cry.  You're favorite foods right now are cheese, mac n' cheese, kefir, green beans, and fruit pouches--but you'll eat anything.  We're loving this stage, and your gurgly little voice and the sounds you babble all day long.

First time wearing shoes and walking.  No thanks.
