Of course, being a first time parent I have nothing to compare him to, but this little guy seems pretty alert for being one week old (maybe because I overcooked him 10 days?). For the past two days, he has stayed awake for a whole 2 hours at a time--just looking around, crossing his eyes now and then, and practicing his smile. What a cutie!
Lisa & Dave: I just checked your blog to find out the good news: Jude has arrived and I didn't even know it. These are wonderful pictures and wonderful words about this next part of your life.
