Leland @ 2 weeks

Well, these pics I snapped today, so technically he's 3 weeks.  If you wanna know what he looked like last week, just picture him all bundled up in a blankie and asleep.  Yes, he is one sleepy fellow.  So much so that I have only had a handful of times to attempt to make him smile.  He has smiled for me, for the record, but the moments have been fleeting.

This is what we know of Leland so far:  he likes to eat fast.  My fave Baby411 book lists breastfeeding styles, and he is a "barracuda"--he just mows down.  But at the same time, he's a snacker.  It's like he eats so fast he puts himself into a coma.

So yah, he eats fast, then naps hard.

His cry gets pretty ferocious pretty dang quick.

And if he had his way (and most the time he does) he would be held at all times.  This is the easiest contrast for me to make between he and Jude.  Jude just was pretty much content wherever you put him!  Today, I  found myself doing all my chores and cradling him around.  Then I got smart and put on my Moby wrap. :)

Anyway, it appears I have another chunk on my hands, which I love.  He's already sporting a chin roll...
