Well, life with a newborn and new house has it's ups and downs, and if you wanna know the truth, these past few weeks have been rough, tired and hormonal and then tired some more.
Yet, life is good, and here are some things I'm happy about:
This kiddo, who talks in a deep make believe voice and races throughout the house as fast as he can, who hides behinds the curtains and then pops out and says, "oh, I found ya." This kiddo who obsesses over our new sink (ohhh, and so do I!)--which is awesome, since I'm now constantly asking him to wash his hands with Leland around.
This little man, who also obsesses over Dad's tools and going to the tool store with Daddy.
This little munch who is absolutely so scrumptious curled on his side, cozy-cozy for a little afternoon nap.
This rug that we purchased from Overstock. Amazing how much more complete the house feels with a something soft underfoot.
This one-inch forehead when it wrinkles.
This little squeaker and analyzing all his features.
A four-year anniversary complete with a dozen roses, a silly sweet card, a home-made dinner, wine, a debate!, and a movie on the couch.
This fine lady coming up for a visit and newborn snuggles.
These two yahoos and Cruz taking a break from playing every 5 minutes to come pet Leland's head.
Chocccccolattttte Brownies and someone to help me pour and stir.
Newbie Leland so fresh and so clean-clean.
Jude as Steve Zizzou
And last, but definitely not least, this hard-working, wonderfully patient man installing some bathroom backsplash! Self-taught, no lessons.
What a wonderful way to capture the last little while. I love all the pics and updates. Your personality comes through with all your posts which invariably makes me smile. oxo
